Who is Andres?

Hey there!

My name is Andres “Andy” Esparza and I am an outdoor educator currently living and working in Yosemite National Park, California. As far as I can tell, I have the best job in the world seeing as how I teach kids in the outdoors.

I am currently (Fall 2012) on another leg of my Pan-American bike tour that I hope to complete one day. This section of the journey will see me through Vancouver to Guatemala with many beautiful sights and people along the way.

When I am not teaching or cycling, I can often be found rock climbing, hiking, backcountry skiing or just down by the river sipping on a cold beer. It’s a rough life, I know. But someone has to do it.

You’re so cool! I am in El Paso visiting my family and my momma (whose maiden name is Esparza) says “here is this Andy guy doing something you would do”. Keep the stories coming, it’s a beautiful adventure you’re on!
